First, we dug out the original weathered patio. Then we installed a new hardcore base with a heavy-duty weed-protective membrane. We installed a Charcoal brick border around the patio areas and footpaths and fitted French gravel drains along the house. We laid the patios with Indian Sandstone slabs in various sizes and filled the remaining garden area with a low-maintenance roll-on lawn.
