First, we removed the original driveway, patio, and connecting footpaths. We laid a new hardcore foundation on a heavy-duty membrane to prevent weed growth. Then we created a new sleeper wall and steps in the patio area. We block-paved the area using Brindle paving bricks.
We topped the driveway with gravel chippings and raked the surface to be even. We also laid new footpaths connecting the driveway and patio and erected all-new wooden fencing with concrete poles at intervals for stability.
