Here are some before, during and after pictures of a block paving driveway completed by JD Drivestyle in Gravesend, Kent.
First, we dug out the original concrete driveway and removed the rotten front fencing. Then we started laying a new solid foundation with heavy-duty membrane sheeting underneath. We topped it with a bed of sand and screeded it flat. We installed some new ACO drains at the foot of the house, as the driveway is sloped and running water could damage the walls. Then we installed double Grey, single Charcoal, and single Grey border around the driveway and single Grey border around the tiered footpath together with some beautiful, treated sleepers. We laid the driveway in a 90° pattern using Marshalls Charcoal paving blocks. Finally, we built new wooden fencing at the front of the driveway to replace the old rotten one.
