Block Paved Driveway in Willesborough, Ashford

Here is a new driveway installation by JD Drivestyle LTD in Willesborough, Ashford. The original driveway was a single concrete strip running down to the side of the house.

We removed the old concrete driveway and extended the driveway into the grass area. We took down the old fencing at the front of the driveway to open up the entire area.

We put in new flat top edging kerbs around the entire driveway benched in a concrete bed to retain the new driveway.

In order to handle the surface water of the driveway, we pitched the levels at the house where we inserted new Aco drains to drain off the surface water.

New base of crushed concrete and a Type 1 MOT base on top was applied over the entire driveway. Membrane sheeting and river washed sand on top of that.

We laid the new block paving in a 90 degree pattern with a 9inch charcoal header followed by 2 single strips of brindle / charcoal inside of it. The main colour of the driveway was in the Brindle colour from Marshalls Driveline.
